Futakuchi Onna - Story and Origins
Now this is interesting.

This is a futakuchi-onna, also known as "two-mouthed woman". She is a type of yokai or Japanese monster/ghost/strange creature. They have two mouths – a normal one located on her face and another one on the back of the head somewhere under the hair, above the neck. The skull at that part has an opening for the mouth, complete with lips, teeth and tongue. And that second mouth can be used to eat like a normal mouth!
What is the origin of this Futakuchi-Onna's second mouth? One cause is that she eats too little usually because she is the wife of a miser. And because of that, the second mouth mysteriously appears behind her head and can mumble to threaten the woman, saying that she should eat. If she still doesn't eat, the second mouth will shout obscene words and the woman will feel horrible pain. At later stages, the woman's hair will move like a snake to grab food to feed the second mouth. However I am not sure what would happen if the woman has short hair though.
The second origin story says that the woman is the wife of a miser and the back part of her head is hit by an axe, but the wound never heals up and transforms into a mouth instead.
According to the 3rd story, the futakuchi-onna is a mother with a child and a stepchild. But the stepchild dies of hunger because the mother gives all the food to her own child. The dead stepchild's spirit attaches itself to the mother, transforming her into a futakuchi-onna.
The basic futakuchi-onna goes like this:
There was a stingy miser who lived entirely by himself because he would not get married and feed a wife. But then he met a woman who ate nothing and married her. But then his rice storage started decreasing. One day, the miser went to work but went back to his house to spy on his wife. To his horror, he saw his wife's hair open up like 2 black snakes, grabbing rice and shoving it into the second mouth on the back of her head...
