The Unexplained Never Ends, That is Why the Collection Never Stops

Smelly Kid

This is the story of a kid called Francis. He was extremely unfortunate, as he always had an unpleasant smell. He was always stinking of rotting flesh. No matter how hard he bathed himself, the smell would still be there.

This smell had a great impact on his life. Especially his social life. He lost all his friends and no one wanted to get close to him. He just smelt awful. But there was nothing he could do.

How did he get that smell in the first place? His friend Alvin narrated the tale. They were trekking the woods one day. Francis was often very outspoken and he liked to say things right out of his mind even though he knew that he should not be saying them. He did not care. They were exploring an area in the woods and he smelt a funny smell coming out from a tree. He mocked that smell and called it names. He showed no respect to the tree. Alvin warned him not to do that, but Francis just replied saying that a tree had no need for any respect.

You see, certain religions and cultures believed that trees have spirits inhabiting them and this particular one seemed to have one. When Francis, Alvin and the rest of the group got home from their exploring, Francis started to emit that terrible smell from his body... until now. There seemed to be not a way on Earth he could get rid of it.
