Demons

Demons are evil creatures. This is according to everybody. Even in the super popular TV series "Supernatural". Demons are known to be soldiers of the Devil Himself, striking fear in the hearts of people, wreaking havoc and causing destruction.

In religion, folklore, and mythology, a demon, or sometimes known as daemon, daimon from Greek is a supernatural being and is generally described as a malevolent spirit. However, demons should not be confused with ghosts as in spirits of the dead people. Ghosts can be evil but they are more like souls of people who died, whereas demons are regarded as hell creatures.

In Christian terms demons are regarded as fallen angels, formerly of God. Demons have varying power levels and can do a lot of things and the most popular power they have is the power of possession. They can enter a person's body and suppress their soul in order to control that person''s body. That unlucky person would start behaving strangely and would require exorcism to get rid of the demon inside.

Every culture in the world has stories of demons and even practices of controlling demons in order to achieve objectives. However, playing with demons are really playing with fire.
